A Real Good Time!

We had a fabulous cookout dinner at Jerry and Sharon’s house, yesterday. The BBQ chicken dinner was delicious (Well…I am a vegan, but I tasted a tiny bit of the sauce..oops! busted! ) and there was so much of it. I took some left overs home (for Ken so I don’t have to cook for him the next day!  Ahem! I know right?…Yeah I am a lazy B…^_^). Sharon is a wonderful cook, I loved everything she made when I was a meat eater.

Apart from the fo1-f5od, I really enjoyed spending time with the three dogs, Bailey, Barney and Freedom. They are so funny, intelligent and sweet. Sharon’s water front house is simply beautiful and in a great location. I always have a blast every time I go there. The benefit of living right in front of the water is that there is such a wide variety of things to do. Such as, fishing, swimming, boat riding and etc. I like going for boat rides at Indian Lake very much. I like boats and would love to own one (in the future).

Ken got really tired after dinner; he literally couldn’t keep his eyes open. He has been working so hard lately, so he deserves to treat himself a great vacation (with me…lol). Speaking of which, since we started our own business we haven’t spent much time together. It seems as though, he works seven days a week. Unlike my first year of living in the US, we spent a lot of time doing fun things together. Hopefully, we will be able to get away from his demanding job to spend some quality time together real soon.
